You're in a standstill, Dazed. Confused. Asking yourself to calm down, Relax. Breathe. Everything around you is always a race, And you can't keep up. You know this, Accepted this. You've tried time and time again, Still one thought, Hold it and remember it. But it escapes, Your forget. It drifted through your fingers like sand. Could you ask me again? Would I remember one from hundreds? No. It can't slow down, I can't slow down. And it hurts, It hurts to not know how, To stop for one second and focus. Truly focus. This is paranoia, anxiety, depression. These are things that will never happen, But repeat in my own head. This is me, A small frightening piece of me.
Child eyes marvel the snow,
tiny crystals falling freely.
Spoken words they'll never know,
for innocence safeguards.
What is the right of clean hands,
as shadow make bars.
Close tight like corset strands,
suffocating the dreams of one child.
Spare one for me to keep,
hands clutched to a single wish.
Fall not into eternal sleep,
reach back into empty space.
May the child dream free,
or surrender to the demons?
Will holy light of silver hear my plea,
or allow the shadows to whisper so?
Child only by mind alone,
can the heart hold true?
Should the child have known,
that the demons lie in wait?
Sapphire bright to hold to heart,
pray to silver
Where once the warm breath of summer touched my cheek,
the chill of winter nips against my nose.
Twist and turn in dreamless nights,
where demons dance and ghosts weave lies.
Listen to them not for they never mean you well,
while I reach out for empty air.
Memory, blessed are you to gift me a smile,
a brief respite but fleeting among the stinging.
Let torpor never claim me,
allow me to stand tall like the evergreens.
I will wander memory to never forget,
know no barricade could stand forever.
As many a stone before it - the walls fall,
thus old and new paths clash.
A vow to keep till time fades true,
I'll always find you
Hazes of grey shroud the sky.
Obscuring, the cloud veils the lines.
But yet the sun comes.
Warm glimmers of golden flecks break the line.
A voice beckons the ear.
Calm, collected, firm, and serene.
Time passes and the wind makes away with the cloud.
Distraction true with eyes free to wander.
The gentlest pulls of a smile.
Sweet scent of the smoke still lingers.
Just a touch, the joining of palms pressed.
A tangle of fingers weaved as one.
Share a breath slow and steady.
Speaking a silent melody from the softest brush.
Once more, it's no harm to have this addiction.
To crave and yearn the rush of the heart.
To dream inside the fire of joy.

Hohoho, kids! Do you know what time is it? It's just about a time to stop acting weird, Messy. You're not a Santa and it's not a Xmas yet! But it's very-very soon! And just to let you know, I have a lot more in common with that guy than you think! What exactly? Trying to summon some elves to do stuff for you doesn't count. That was a terrible idea btw.
